About WHAT LARKS!

What Larks! are a 3/4-part female a Cappella group who sing mainly traditional songs with lots of sing-along choruses.

​

Debut album launchon Monday December 2nd 2024 at the Grove Folk Club in Leeds. The album is called Larking About and was recorded at Greenmount Studios in Leeds.

​

We are all individual performers and met originally via social media.

​

• Heather Woodhead, who helps run the Grove Folk Club in Leeds, is also a singer songwriter & guitarist.

• Lilian Grace is a solo performer who sings unaccompanied or with concertina or guitar

• Sue Thornton often performs in a duo with her husband Mark Ludlow

• Anne Curran has toured extensively in the past as a solo singer and guitarist
